Gabe and his Cousins photo shoot

Try getting 5 kids under the age of 10 to all look at the camera and smile at the same time! LOL! We had a great time and got some great pictures.

4 months old!

Our little man is getting so big! It seems like by the time I get around to posting one month it is time to post another. He is growing like a little weed and is really starting to get his own personality. It is so wonderful getting to see everything that he is doing from day to day.

At 4 months our little guy is...
  • 13.5 lbs & 24 in.
  • Has started waking up every 2 hours to eat at night...uggh!
  • Feeds from both breasts per feeding for 10-30 minutes and eats every1-3 hours
  • Smiles a lot and laughs out loud sometimes
  • Likes to get tickled
  • Likes to eat his hands and drool A LOT!
  • Loves to stand up (with help)
  • Kicks a lot and loves to stretch out after a long nap
  • Wears 3-6 month and 6-9 month clothes depending on the brand
  • Goes through about 10 diapers a day
  • Holds his head up all of the time.
  • Loves his bouncy seat and enjoys beating the heck out of the toys that are on it
  • Likes to talk A LOT...doesn't make much sense but you can tell he is trying really hard.
  • STILL hates tummy time...I don't think he will ever roll over
  • Defiantly has the Newman temper
  • Likes to be held all day long and doesn't let Mommy get anything done, though this is started to get better now that he has his baby gym.

Gabe meets Santa!

So Gabe went to meet Santa with 3 of his cousins; Caleb, Mikey, and Nathan. We had such a fabulous time. It was definitely a difficult task getting all 4 boys to look at the camera and smile at the same time, but it all turned out great. We spent the whole day going here and there with Auntie B, Uncle Tim, and Mrs. Jenny. We started out at the mall where we had their pictures taken then we went to see Daddy at work, then to I Jump for the bigger Boys to play. We had a blast and Gabe did great all day.

3 months old!

Our little man is 3 months old! Time is moving by much too quickly. I feel like if I blink I will miss everything. I am so thankful that I am able to stay home with him so I don't miss a single minute of his beautiful little life. He is the best thing in my life (my husband too of course) and I don't know how I ever lived without him.

At 3 months our little guy is...
  • 12 lbs & 24 in.
  • Sleeps around 9 hours a night (not in a row)
  • Feeds from one breast per feeding for 10-30 minutes and eats every1-4 hours
  • Smiles a lot and is getting closer to laughing out loud
  • Likes to eat his hands
  • Loves to stand up (with help)
  • Kicks a lot and loves to stretch out after a long nap
  • Wears 0-3 month and 3-6 month clothes depending on the brand
  • Goes through about 10 diapers a day
  • Holds his head up most of the time, but still bobbles like Ray Charles. He's got a big head!
  • Loves his bouncy seat and enjoys beating the heck out of the toys that are on it
  • Likes to talk...lots of ooo's and ahhh's
  • Still hates tummy time...I don't think he will ever roll over
  • Defiantly has the Newman temper
  • Likes to be held all day long and doesn't let Mommy get anything done

Mary Kay...here I come!

With the support of my wonderful, loving, yet somewhat skeptical husband I have delved myself in head 1st to become an Independent Sales Consultant for Mary Kay. I am so excited, nervous, and thankful for what this could bring my family. I am only hoping to help pay a bill here or there each month, but if I make more I more than welcome it.

Thank you Lord for giving me the strength to fight the fear and take a step towards bettering my families life...even if it is just to have me be at home with my son.

Gabriel's 1st Halloween!!

For Gabe's 1st Halloween we all dressed up as Star Wars characters. Eric was Darth Vader, I was Princess Leia, and Gabe was Yoda! It was too cute and we had a great time. We made a few stops to show off our costumes, went and visited with my parents and then went to Eric's parents house to trick-or-treat, pass out candy, eat dinner, and just hang out. We had so much fun with all the kids that came up to the house. There was even a little Darth Vader that Eric took a picture with...to cute!! It was nice and cold just the way Halloween should be, I hope next year is just as nice so Gabe can really have some fun.

Talk about forbidden love?!

Mini Darth!

What a Family photo!

Who's your Daddy Gabe? Darth is your Daddy!

2 Months Old!

Our Little Man is 2 Months Old today...seems like yesterday when I was writing about him turning 1 Month Old. Time is flying by like I can't believe and I am just so grateful to get to spend every day with him and not miss anything. I feel like my world is now complete. I have my two precious boys and I can't imagine life before this moment.

At 2 months our little guy is...
  • 10 lbs & 22 in
  • Sleeps around 7 hours a night (not in a row)
  • Usually sleeps from 10pm - 3am & 4am - 8am
  • Feeds from one breast per feeding, eats for 10 min to 30 min & eats between every 1 hour & 4 hours
  • Smiles a lot (not just from gas)
  • Sticks out his tongue and plays with it (watch out when you give him kisses)
  • Makes and keeps eye contact
  • Pushes off like he is ready to stand up
  • Kicks his feet a lot and loves to stretch after a long nap
  • Wears 0-3 months and 3-6 months clothes depending on the brand
  • Goes through about 12 diapers a day
  • Holds his head up almost always
  • Loves his swing and bouncy seat (though not for long periods of time)
  • Looks at his mobile and tries to play with toys that dangle
  • Likes to talk...sounds like a tan tan (Star Wars reference)
  • Has not mastered tummy time just yet...he prefers his back or side
  • Seems to have the Newman temper (That's my side)
  • Has his Daddy's bowels and poots all day long
  • Likes to be held all day long and never lets Mommy get anything done
